VCD Nepal (Volunteer for Community Development - Nepal) is an officially registered non-governmental and nonprofit organization. It is registered with the social welfare council of Nepal.
Our mission is to provide the local people with skills and knowledge so that they can ultimately help themselves to progress as a community. Our volunteers work with local people to assist in the provision of education, environmental awareness and medical services.
We established in 2007, and have since then had over 1000 volunteers from all over the world. We are within the 10th best rated volunteer organization worldwide.
The ultimate goal of VCD Nepal is to give Nepali people the necessary tools to help themselves.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Recruited, trained and placed volunteers from 62 different country from the globe.
- Monthly donation to the orphanage in Chitwan
- Yearly sponsorship to the orphanage and poor children
- Donation of food and teaching materials to various orphanages and monasteries
