VCD founded and continues to manage the national fortnightly newspaper, Tourism Times and a tourism online portal, www.tourismnewsnepal.com. The government of Nepal has rated it as a national A-rated newspaper and is published both in English and Nepali. An internship with Tourism Times is a perfect opportunity for writers, journalists and photographers. It presents an excellent opportunity to research different areas of interest for tourists including Nepali festivals, natural and cultural photography and destination features that may interest visitors. Tourism Times also runs an online blog which interns can contribute to. An internship with Tourism Times allows you to travel to lesser known destinations as well as major tourist destinations and promote Nepal Tourism internationally. It is great for photographers as Nepal is a photographer’s paradise with many different cultures, people and a stunning landscape. You will also have a chance to interact with other journalists working in various media outlets in Nepal.
